Code and regulation monitoring for buildings

Every code change that affects your building, tracked and explained.

AHJ Radar watches the fire, building, elevator, boiler, pool and workplace rules that govern your property, from federal to city, and tells you what changed, when it's due, and who reviewed it, before the inspector does. Built for chief engineers, directors of engineering, property managers and risk teams.

Free for one building. No card, no data entry. The address is the only thing we ask for.

Questions people search for

What is an AHJ?

The authority having jurisdiction: the fire marshal, the building official, the state licensing board, the county inspector, or a federal agency. Any organization with legal power to enforce a code against your building. Most buildings have several.

When does the Florida Fire Prevention Code 9th Edition take effect?

The State Fire Marshal targets December 31, 2026; the posted Florida amendments to NFPA 1 (2024) carry that date under Rule 69A-60.003. The 8th Edition (2023) is enforceable until then.

What is the OSHA Hazard Communication deadline?

November 20, 2026 for substances (labels, written program, training) and May 19, 2028 for mixtures, per 91 FR 1695.

Who inspects boilers in Florida?

The Department of Financial Services, Division of State Fire Marshal, under Chapter 554 and Rule 69A-51. Not DBPR.

How does Miami-Dade building recertification work?

Buildings three stories or taller are recertified at 25 years if within three miles of the coast (built 1998 or later) or 30 years elsewhere, then every 10 years, under County Code §8-11. A Florida-licensed engineer or architect prepares the report, due 90 days from the county's notice.

Does AHJ Radar tell me whether my building is compliant?

No. It reports what changed, when it takes effect, and where it touches your building, with the source document and the name of the person who reviewed it. Applicability is confirmed with your AHJ or counsel.
